Thomas S. Moore Chardonnay Casks

Aged in oak casks and then refilled in Chardonnay wine casks, this bourbon slowly grows bolder as it opens, with spice bringing out more fruit. Nose: Oak, caramel, herbal baking spice, dried dark fruit, vanilla frosting, nuts, and peanut brittle. Palate: Oak, caramel, baking spice, dried grapey fruit, vanilla, roasted nuts, and earthy herbalness. The wine and bourbon flavors are distinct yet complementary. Finish: Medium with grapey sweetness, oak, nuts, and a slightly metallic note.
