Hibiki Blossom Harmony Limited Release 2022 Japanese Whisky

Hibiki, translating to "Resonance" in Japanese, was launched in 1989 as a tribute to Suntory's 60th anniversary. This embodiment of Suntory's philosophy—living in balance with nature and humankind—reverberates in every bottle of Hibiki. As the progenitor of Japanese whisky and home to master blenders, Suntory has ventured far and wide to unravel the myriad interpretations of harmony in a blend.
Each Hibiki blend is a coveted treasure worldwide, meticulously designed to reveal an unexpected sense of harmony. The task of achieving perfect balance was challenging from the outset, given the potent personality of the Sakura cask, which can easily overpower.
Through persistence and countless experiments, we discovered that grain whiskies, when finished in the Sakura cask, magnify the overall equilibrium, thus creating a 'Blossoming Harmony' that unfolds gradually. This results in a distinctive Hibiki variant.
Upon opening, you are greeted with a tantalizing floral fragrance, followed by the classic depth and complexity that Hibiki is renowned for—notes of honey, candied orange peel, jasmine, and a touch of chocolate decadence.
